 Terms & Conditions – Select Print Solutions T/As Select Print & Exhibitions 

General Outline of Terms & Conditions: 

Printing: 50% deposit is required IMMEDIATELY in order for the job to commence. Balance is due prior to dispatch of the job. Refer to our Terms and Conditions for trading and cancellation of any order. Deposit is not refunded if the job is cancelled.

Custom Build Stand: We require at least 4 weeks for the build, calculated from the time we receive the 50% deposit. Deposit is not refunded if the job is cancelled. Full payment is required prior to installation. Artwork must be approved 4 weeks prior to the show.

Note: if verbal changes are made after the render has been provided, the quotation will vary and the final product may differ to the original render.

Late Fee: there will be a 25% late fee incurred if no payment has been made 4 weeks prior to the show. Refer to our Terms and Conditions for trading terms and cancellation of any order.

Custom Design Booth: 1 FREE render is provided at no charge, any additional renders will be at a charge. After acceptance of quotation.

Claims – Select Print and Exhibitions will not accept claims made on any product that a client has accepted and held in their property for 14 days or more.

Terms & Conditions – Custom Design Booth, Furniture Hire 

1. General – All Hire Goods remain the Property of Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions at all times. Property of Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions retains the right to alter, vary or substitute any item without notice.

2. All Goods are subject to stock availability – this may vary due to stock being available. Stock provided is a hire, hence is second hand – no refund is available for a change of mind once goods are delivered.

3. Prices– Unless otherwise indicated, all pricing is Exclusive of GST. Cartage and damage Waiver. Prices are for the duration of the exhibition. Note: if verbal changes are made after the render has been provided, the quotation will vary.

4. Payments – Stock cannot be confirmed until a 50% deposit is made. Unless specified, stock is not guaranteed. Supply and installation will not commence until final balance is paid prior to installation.

5. All Credit card Transactions are subject to 3% surcharge.

6. Cartage & Placements – All cartage and placements of equipment will be carried out by Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions, except as otherwise agreed in writing. Event Cartage fees apply to Sydney CBD, Melbourne and Brisbane. Other areas may attract additional charges.

7. Delivery and Installation – All Installations will be delivered the day or morning prior to event opening. Once stock has been delivered it cannot be refunded, regardless of the reason.

8. Pick up – All equipment must be available for pick up immediately after the event. No responsibility is taken for any goods left in or on our equipment after close of the exhibition or event.

9. Cancellations – Once deposit has been processed and manufacturing and printing has commenced on the expo stand or booth, any cancellation after will be charged at full rate. Any Product delivered then cancelled will be charged at full rates.

10. In the event that a client books multiple shows compiled into the one order with Select Print and Exhibitions The client will receive not only a generous discount but also Select Print and exhibitions obligation to provide exceptional service. The order would be bound and honoured to Select print and exhibitions by the client, and production will commence immediately well in advance to the date of the event. Production will incur costs to Select Print and Exhibitions in advance to the event in order to co-ordinate the clients order. Therefore, any cancellations would result in full payment by the client to Select Print and Exhibitions.

11. Claims – Please notify Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions of any problems with your order immediately on delivery. No claims will be considered after the event has closed.

Terms & Conditions – Hirer Agreement 

1. Definitions: 

Owner means Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions ABN 58 133 294 489. Hirer means any person who requires the owner to hire equipment to it Equipment means the items hired out by the owner to the hirer.

2. The Hirer agrees to pay the owner’s hire charge and any other charges, including damages, and repairs or any Tax, GST, levy or other expenses paid or payable by the owner. All Hiring charges are to be paid by the hirer prior to delivery of the equipment. The Hirer agrees to provide the owner with the hirer’s credit card details which may be necessary to debit the Hirer’s credit card prior to delivery of the equipment.

Subsequent charges for loss, damage, repairs or other expenses are to be paid within 5 days of the relevant invoice. The Hirer authorises the owner to debit the hirer’s credit card with the amount shown on the relevant invoice if the hirer has not paid that amount within 5 days of the relevant invoice. The Hirer agrees to pay any expenses incurred or loss suffered by the owner as a result of breach of the hirer of its obligation pursuant to these terms (including legal costs) and to pay all costs and expenses incurred by the owner.

3. In the event that the goods are not available for collection nor delivered to the Owner on the date specified in the Contract the Hirer shall pay to the owner the further rent for each additional day of hire or part thereof until the goods are delivered to the owner.

4. The Hirer shall not sell or offer for sale, assign, mortgage, pledge, underlet, lend or otherwise deal with the said goods or any of them or any interest in them or any of them or with any interest in this agreement but will keep the goods in his own possession and will not remove the same or any of them from the place of hire mentioned in the Contract without the consent of the owner in writing and will not cause or allow any of the said goods to be so affixed to the premises being the place of hire as to become fixtures and will not create or allow to be created any lien upon the goods and will duly and punctually pay all rates, taxes, charges and impositions payable in respect of the premises whereon the goods shall for the time being be situated and produce all receipts for such payments to the owner on demand and will protect the goods against distress, execution or seizure and indemnify the Owner against all losses, costs, charges, damages and expenses incurred by him by reason or in respect thereof.

5. The Hirer shall at all times use the goods in a proper manner and shall at his own expense service, clean and maintain the goods in good and substantial repair and condition reasonable wear and tear excepted.

6. Included in the Exhibition Hire Charges is a charge for damage waiver in consideration of which the Owner agrees to waiver the liability of the Hirer for accidental loss or damage to the goods.

7. In the event of a break-down or failure of the goods the Hirer shall return the goods to the Owner’s premises forthwith and on no account shall repair or at- tempt to repair the goods without the prior consent of the owner. In the event that such break-down or failure is caused by reasonable wear and tear and not by the Hirer’s negligence or misuse then the period of hire in respect of such goods shall be determined upon such return of the goods to the Owner. In no event shall the Owner be responsible for any expenditure and damages and/or loss incurred by the Hirer arising out of any break-down or failure of the equipment whether caused by fair wear and tear, negligence on the part of the Owner or any other person or any other reason whatsoever.

8. The Hirer shall allow the Owner access at any time during normal business hours to inspect the goods and to enter into and upon any premises where the goods are or are presumed to be for any purpose incidental to or arising out of this agreement.

9. The Owner may notwithstanding the specified period of hire and notwithstanding any waiver of any previous default forthwith terminate this agreement and repossess the goods in any of the following events:

A. If the Hirer fails to pay any hiring charges on or before the due dates.

B. If the Hirer shall do or permit any act or thing to be done whereby the Owner’s rights in any of the goods may be prejudiced.

C. If the Hirer shall become or be made insolvent or bankrupt or make any arrangement or composition with his creditors or in the case of a

Hirer being a company should an order be made or a resolution passed for the winding up of such company.

D. If the Hirer commits any breach of this agreement.

10. Upon termination of this agreement for any reason whatsoever the Owner may enter into or upon any premises where the goods may be without prejudice to the rights of the Owner to recover from the Hirer any moneys due hereunder or any damages for breach hereof and the Hirer indemnifies the Owner in respect of any claims damages or expense arising out of any action taken under this Clause.

Terms & Conditions – Printing Services, Pull Up Banners, Pop Up Spider Walls

1. Quotations A. Prices quoted are based on the current cost of production (materials, labor, machine time etc) and are subject to amendment by Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions before or after acceptance of the quotation to meet a variation in the cost of production between the date of quotation and the date of the order, provided there is no unreasonable delay on the part of Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions. Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions will only be required to fulfil the instructions specified in the quote. The customer is responsible to provide written instructions at the time of the quotation. Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions will not be responsible for errors or omissions due to misinterpretation of verbal instructions.

2. Acceptance By Customer – Where Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions has given the customer a quote A. Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions need not commence work until the quote has been accepted by the customer and a deposit has been made.

B. The customer may accept the quote by instructing (in writing ONLY) Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions to commence work.

C. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they pick the correct service to meet the customer’s deadline, if however customer requires print order to be delivered before agreed turnaround service additional charges will apply and cancellation of order will not be accepted. Turnaround time doesn’t including shipping (road freight) from door to door.

D. Acceptance by the customer of the quote will constitute acceptance by the customer of these Terms and Conditions.

3. Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions Ltd may amend the estimate before the order has been completed to take into account any rise or fall in the cost of performing the order and Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions shall notify the customer of such amendments as soon as practical thereafter. Upon Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions giving the customer notification of such amendments, the estimate shall be deemed the estimate for the purpose of these Terms and Conditions.

4. Additional Charges In addition to the amount of the estimate, or where no estimate was given, in addition to the amount representing Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions charge for the work done, Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions may charge to the customer: A. Fees for having to work from a poor copy B. Fees and other charges for work required to be done urgently including overtime costs C. Fees for changing or correcting, in order to ensure that the goods are properly produced, any plates, film, bromides, artwork or any document including computer files supplied for the purpose of the order by the customer. D. Freight costs (Air Freight or Urgent Freight) and charges

5. Force Majeure & Proofs A. Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions will not be liable for any loss, damage or expense suffered or incurred by the customer where such loss is occasioned by any cause beyond Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions reasonable control, including and without limiting the generality of the foregoing by war, insurrection, terrorism, fires, floods, strikes, lockouts, delays in transport, breakdowns in machinery, the inability or failure of a supplier to supply necessary materials, or prohibitions or other action by any government or semi government authority, or embargoes B. If Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions submits to the customer a proof of the goods then Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions will not be responsible for any errors in the goods which appeared in the proof and which were not corrected by the customer before the order was completed.

6. Damages A. The customer must pay Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions any cost, expenses or losses incurred Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions as a result of the customer’s failure to pay Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions all sums outstanding from the customer to Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions (including, without limiting the generality of the obligation set out in this clause, any debt collection and legal costs).

7. Property left with Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions A. If the customer leaves property Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions possession without specific instructions as to what is to be done with it, Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions may within 6 months after gaining possession of the property, dispose of or sell the property and retain any proceeds of sale as compensation for holding and handling the property.

8. Colour Matching Policy & Artwork Specifications Policies. A. Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions colour does not guaranteed to match screen colour as colours may vary from day to day, press to press, board to board and back to front, varnishes and laminates may also affect colour output Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions do not reprint for colour discrepancies. Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions bulk running system does not allow for this. It is the customer’s responsibility to supply a colour proof if colour matching is required, this must be supplied prior to printing, no responsibility is taken by Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions if it delay’s the printing process/turnaround time. Colour matching is not guaranteed even if a hard copy is supplied by customer. If corporate colour matching is required, please request for Pantone Colour quotation and please provide the PMS colour when submitting your job.

B. Artwork Prep Policies: The customer must approve and ensure artwork is print ready which should comply with the following requirements: – Outline all fonts. – A maximum of 300dpi for all image resolutions. – Flatten all vector transparency objects and rasterise all image transparency objects. – Provide a 3mm bleed and crop marks for any document that requires guillotining (full bleed). All-important text must be 5mm inside crop marks to prevent being crop off in guillotining. When supplying finished artwork it must be supplied with OVERPRINT PREVIEW being ON we take no responsibility if this feature has been turned off while creating the artwork.

C. Finishing Policies – It is recommended at the client’s expense that when printing on 180GSM thru to 420GSM that it be Scored (Creased Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions recommends this, however Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions are not liable for any damages if the client decides not to go ahead with this option.

9. Delivery Policies Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions can arrange a courier service for the job delivery but there is no guarantee on arrival time, Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions is not liable for any delay due to the courier Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions printing prices include delivery to ONE location ONLY, using Road delivery services Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THAT CUSTOMERS SHOULD ARRANGE THEIR OWN PICKUP FOR URGENT JOBS.

10. Cancellation Policies Cancellation of any order will incur a loss of deposit paid to Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions and is liable for the time spent on artwork and print charges that have occurred Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions has the right to invoice and claim the FULL AMOUNT if the order is cancelled after work has commenced or been completed.

11. Electronic Data without limiting the generality of the foregoing clauses, Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions will not be liable to the customer for loss, however caused, of any data stored on disks, tapes, compact disks or other media supplied by the customer to Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions.

12. Goods and Service Tax The customer will be liable for any goods and services tax payable on the supply of goods and/or services by Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions to the customer.

13. Warranty On Pull Up Banners, Expo Units, Or any equipment purchased from Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions provides the customer a warranty of 1 year on the mechanism only which is the base for our Pull Up Banner range. The warranty is valid only when the pull up banner is returned to Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions. As we bulk produce the Pull Up Banners we have no control of colour that is produced from this method of printing. We do not guarantee the actual stock as it has been supplied by a third party company. All Pull Up Banners, L Banners and any form of large format printing is designed for indoor use only and must be kept out of direct sun light. All Pull Up Banners, L Banners, X Banners, Wall Units come supplied with a branded Select Print Solutions Pty Ltd T/as Select Print & Exhibitions bag. If plain bags are required an additional fee will apply.
